Our Aurora collection was initially created for the exhibition at Iconoclastes gallery in Paris located near Place Vendôme, the epicentre of high-end jewellery. It started with the screen. Embracing the location, the designers aimed to get the feeling of a giant piece of interior jewelry. This cocktail table is showing off its best-polished gems.
You can choose between 2 base colour options, brass or black.

The Coffee Bean is McCollin Bryan’s most renowned piece in scagliola. Since its launch in 2002 it has continued to be one of their bestselling designs worldwide.
Scagliola is a centuries-old technique for creating surfaces that mimic fine marble. It may be visually mistaken for semi-precious stone, but it feels warmer when touched. This versatile piece creates a strong impression with its sculptural geometric shape and contrasting organic surface.
Each piece is finished by hand and pigmented individually resulting in their unique appearance. The coffee table, which can be also used as a seating, is available in 5 sizes, from 80 centimetres in diameter to our absolute maximum of metre and a half.

Scagliola is not suitable for the exterior. Due to its sensitive nature, it’s even not appropriate for wet areas. If you plan to use our Coffee Bean outside, please consider our epoxy resin version suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

This striking sculptural asymmetric console table consists of two separate pieces that can be arranged in various combinations.

The scagliola surfaces have a natural looking patina and are slightly pitted in places. Every piece is pigmented individually and made by hand to order.

Each Aurora cocktail table is inspired by the art of jewellery. As the goldsmith inserts a cabochon into a bezel, we fix our signature coloured resin into a solid brass frame. Fraxile cocktail table is McCollin Bryan’s experiment in combining recycled glass with midnight blue resin. It pays homage to the rich qualities in fractal resin designs of Marie-Claude de Fouquières in the 1970s. This French artist was only producing these works for 8 years, so they are extremely rare. A poetic effect obtained through a chemical reaction is sometimes compared to crushed ice or shatterline.
This collectible coffee table is a coloured resin oval set into a solid brass frame. This jewellery-inspired object resembles a giant accessory, as if a goldsmith set a cabochon in a bezel. Much like with the cocktail rings, which can be worn on on several fingers at once, you don’t have to restrict yourself to one cocktail table; they look great in a flamboyant group.

For Don McCollin and Maureen Bryan, a timepiece is a rather special item, as it was the first serious project by our design duo. We were inspired by the warmth of surfaces in architectural salvage to create a minimal form in cast concrete and gold leaf. These modernist clock sold exceptionally well in Heals and other department stores, which eventually allowed us to open a full-fledged studio.
Unfortunately we ceased production of these well over 10 years ago but the right replacement mechanisms can still be found on the market.

McCollin Bryan’s philosophy is to create functional furniture & objects with subtle and intriguing dimensions. Key is the process of experimentation and development of visual concepts.
A series of experiments with resins & forms resulted in the Abyssus in 2008, a table with a sculptural presence, rich in its surface & clean in its form.
The Abyssus tables comprise a highly polished resin surface which conceals a gilt core. The darkened resin creates a curious veil over the opulent centre, drawing the eye to the sinuous textures within that provide a sharp contrast to the Abyssus’ geometric form.

Care:
The resin should be cleaned with a multi-surface, wax-free polish and a soft, clean cloth.
Fine scratches may occur with use but will be reduced with regular polishing.

The inspiration for Tallis coffee table came from looking at the stained glass. The Tallis tables are hand cast in a selection of tinted & clear resins, their colour & reflective qualities are intensified with their faceted shape.
