Aurora Fraxile Coffee Table

Aurora Fraxile cocktail table is McCollin Bryan’s experiment in combining recycled glass with midnight blue resin. It pays homage to the rich qualities in fractal resin designs of Marie-Claude de Fouquières in the 1970s. This French artist was only producing these works for 8 years, so they are extremely rare. A poetic effect obtained through a chemical reaction is sometimes compared to crushed ice or shatterline.
Aurora side table is a coloured resin oval set into a solid brass frame. This jewellery-inspired object resembles a giant accessory, as if a goldsmith set a cabochon in a bezel. Much like with the cocktail rings, which can be worn on on several fingers at once, you don’t have to restrict yourself to one cocktail table; they look great in a flamboyant group.

Lunar 2 Table

The multi-tonal effects created by the rich hues in the Lunar table suggest it is lit from within. The depth of colour gives the impression of looking upon something precious and otherworldly.
McCollin Bryan’s approach is driven by a desire to create pieces with are as visually stunning as they are functional. Resin is their signature material, which produces a striking finish, encouraging a tactile and emotive response. The nature of working with it allows the team to forego industrialised processes and instead work in an instinctive, artisanal style that focuses on hand-crafting. Every piece is proudly made in their London studio.

Double Mint Table

A continuation of the Minty design, the Double Mint appears as a collision of two singular pieces, morphing together to create one homogenous shape.
McCollin Bryan’s preoccupation with the artistic properties of their materials includes a careful consideration of the environmental footprint, and a dedication to eliminating waste.
The Double Mint is made using bio-based resin formulated with renewable raw materials, incorporated with a resin by-product from their Lens tables to be mindful of the circular economy. It carries the same design impact as the original in Scagliola plaster but is suitable for outdoor use due to the naturally hard-wearing properties of the materials.
The bio-based resin used in this piece is certified by the USDA BioPreferred Programme for reducing the environmental impact caused by petroleum-based resins, and the manufacturers are committed to participating in the “1% for the Planet” initiative, donating 1% of gross sales to environmental causes.

Cube Coffee Table Dusty Pink

Pondering how to recycle industrial waste, you hardly think of dust. We do. When we polish our Lens tables to glass quality we are worried by noticeable amounts of dust. Each table’s top is made of resin and goes through a laborious sanding and polishing process until it twinkles. So, to be more circular in our practice, we’ve spent time working out how to incorporate all the dust back into our production.
Meet our new reconstituted material with its craggy surface in this Cube Coffee Table in dusty pink. We have combined our dust with an ecoresin which has a completely transparent and traceable production journey.

Pi Console Table 80cm

Pi Table, the very recent McCollin Bryan’s creation, is a console table with patinated brass plated base and a highly polished resin surface. Designers’ passion for casting in resins and other materials is driven by the desire to create objects that intrigue the user with evocative surfaces. Capturing soft ripples frozen in time, this piece is cast subtle depths of indigo tones. The sinuous texture provides a sharp contrast to the basic geometric form of the base.
When mixing and pouring the resins, meticulous care is taken to achieve a perfect colour and finish. The pieces are cured in moulds, then painstakingly polished to achieve a high shine. During the assembly of the resin pieces, detailed quality control measures ensure that each piece looks effortlessly constructed.

Cube Coffee Table Tan Terrain

Scagliola (pronounced “scal-y-oh-lah”) is a centuries-old technique for creating surfaces that mimic fine marble and other noble materials. This decorative man-made plaster was known since Roman times and became popular in the 18th century. Scagliola may be visually mistaken for semi-precious stone, but it feels warmer when touched. First attracted to it due to its rarity in contemporary design, McCollin Bryan have worked for many years to produce modern, geometric forms in their version of the process in order to contrast tradition with the unconventional. The rich and earthy colours of the Scagliola are achieved using pigments mixed to a highly specific ‘recipe’ that is the result of experimentation.

Pebble Table Coral

Don McCollin and Maureen Bryan’s partnership, formed in 1988, allows their individual design talents to spark off each other.
Just like their famous Coffee Bean table, this oval Pebble table is cast in Scagliola.
Scagliola (pronounced “scal-y-oh-lah”) is a centuries-old technique for creating surfaces that mimic fine marble and other noble materials. This decorative man-made plaster was known since Roman times and became popular in the 18th century. As it has emerged as a self-sufficient art, with masterpieces highly appreciated, we never call it fake, imitation, or faux marble: it is an imaginary marble.

Other colour options: Black, Cement, Charcoal, Mole, Peat.

Lens Table Clear Violetta 45cm

The materials we work with are critical to our pieces, exploiting the intrinsic characteristics to intrigue the viewer. We began experimenting with clear resin in 1999, inspired by an antique magnifying lens from a telescope, playing with light and reflections, which really set us on a path to produce our first prototype of a Lens Table in 2005.
Every Lens coffee table is a functional item of furniture with the poetry of art.
This one comes with highly polished resin top in Clear Violetta, backed with a tinted mirror and five black metal legs.
Brass or nickel legs available upon request.
This particular Lens Coffee Table is available for immediate shipping.
